Cookies Policy

We use a small number of cookies and browser-storage entries to make Soren work. We do not use advertising trackers, analytics pixels (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, PostHog, etc.), or retargeting cookies. The first time you visit, a banner asks for your consent for non-essential entries; you can change your mind any time from Settings → Cookie preferences.

1. Strictly necessary

These are required for the Service to function. They do not need consent under GDPR or ePrivacy and cannot be disabled.

Clerk session cookies

• Set by: Clerk (our auth provider)
• Purpose: Keeps you signed in. Without this you would have to log in on every page load.
• Type: httpOnly, Secure, SameSite cookie
• Duration:Session + a refresh token that rotates per Clerk's default policy

soren_prefill_email

• Set by: Voyanix (our app)
• Purpose:After Stripe checkout, pre-fills the email field on the sign-up form so you don't have to retype it. Path-scoped to /sign-up only.
• Type: httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=lax cookie
• Duration: 10 minutes

soren_funnel (sessionStorage)

• Set by: Voyanix
• Purpose:Remembers your answers to the Hero Assessment as you move between scenes so you don't lose progress on a refresh.
• Type: sessionStorage (cleared when you close the tab)
• Duration: Session only

2. Functional (consent required)

These improve the experience but are not strictly required. The cookie banner blocks them until you accept.

soren_returning_hero (localStorage)

• Set by: Voyanix
• Purpose:Recognizes returning visitors so we can show a “Welcome back” flow on the funnel home and skip the introductory question if you've seen it.
• Duration: Until you clear browser storage or delete your account

soren_decisive_action (localStorage)

• Set by: Voyanix
• Purpose:Tracks whether you've been offered the time-limited “Decisive Action” discount during the funnel, so the discount appears on the pricing page during the 1-hour window.
• Duration: 1 hour

Dream-board view preferences (localStorage)

• Set by: Voyanix
• Purpose: Remembers your preferred grouping (by type vs by vibe) and view (gallery vs list) on the My Dreams page.
• Duration: Until you clear browser storage

Briefing collapsed state (sessionStorage)

• Set by: Voyanix
• Purpose:Remembers whether you collapsed today's daily briefing so we don't pop it open each time you return to the Vision Portal.
• Duration: Session, keyed by date

soren_cookie_consent

• Set by: Voyanix
• Purpose:Records your choice on the cookie banner. Without it we'd ask you on every page load.
• Type: First-party cookie
• Duration: 1 year (re-asks annually)

3. What we don't use

• No third-party advertising or marketing cookies (no Facebook pixel, Google Ads, TikTok pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag).
• No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, PostHog, Segment, Amplitude, Heap).
• No fingerprinting or cross-site tracking.

If we ever add any, we will update this policy and request your consent.

4. Changing your preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time from Settings → Cookie preferences (heroes only) or from the cookie banner that re-appears each year. You can also clear cookies directly in your browser.
