Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Soren application and website at soren.quest(the “Service”) operated by Voyanix LLC (“Voyanix”, “we”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Soren. If you are between 16 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not intended for children under 16.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including activity by anyone you share access with.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, or that pose a security risk to the Service.

3. Subscription & billing

• Soren is a paid subscription service billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Pricing is shown at /pricing.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
• Prices are in US dollars and may change with at least 30 days' notice via email and in-app banner.
• Stripe handles all payment processing. Voyanix never receives your full card number, CVV, or expiration date.

4. Trial and decisive-action discount

If we offer a free trial or a time-limited discount (e.g., the “Decisive Action” coupon shown to heroes who complete the funnel), the terms displayed at checkout (duration, price, renewal terms) are the binding terms of that offer.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to break the law, harass others, or harm yourself or others.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying source or AI prompts of the Service.
• Use the Service for automated bulk content generation or large-scale scraping.
• Attempt to access another hero's account, data, or conversations.
• Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service without prior written permission.

6. AI Disclaimer

Soren's coaching responses, daily briefings, milestone suggestions, Heroic Quest Statement options, task suggestions, and Ask-Soren guidance are generated by an AI model (Google's Gemini, accessed via Vertex AI). They are not produced by a licensed professional and may contain errors, omissions, or material that reflects model bias.

Soren is not a substitute for medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. Do not rely on Soren's responses for diagnosis, treatment, or decisions about your health, finances, or legal matters. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. In the US, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available by calling or texting 988.

You acknowledge that Soren's responses may surface AI-generated text mid-coaching without an explicit per-message label. We surface a “Powered by AI” badge in the chat header, on the Daily Briefing card, and (where space allows) on suggestion panels. Treat anything Soren says as a starting point, not the final word.

7. Your content

Everything you create in the Service — your reflections, dreams, Heroic Quest Statement, conversation history, sparks, journal notes, vibe ratings — is yours. Voyanix does not claim ownership.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your content solely as needed to operate the Service for you (store it, display it back to you, send relevant excerpts to the AI model so Soren can coach you). This license ends when you delete your account.

8. Our content

The Service's code, design, copy, brand assets (Soren logo, Muse archetype framework, the 55-day quest structure, the Forge / Questie / Vibe Check methodology) are owned by Voyanix and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, republish, or imitate them without written permission.

9. Third-party services

Soren integrates with Clerk (auth), Stripe (billing), Google Cloud (hosting + AI), and Brevo (transactional email). Their terms of service apply when you use the parts of the Service that depend on them. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voyanix disclaims all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voyanix's aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100, whichever is greater. Voyanix is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in those places, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Voyanix harmless from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. We may terminate or suspend your account if you materially breach these Terms or if we are required to by law. Upon termination, sections 6 (AI), 7-8 (content), 10-12 (disclaimers / liability / indemnification), and 14 (governing law) survive.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and Voyanix agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of creating your account by emailing legal@voyanix.com. Class actions are not permitted. This section does not apply where law prohibits its application.

15. Changes

We will update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app and by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
